Super nutrient dense and one of those ones that leaves you with that 'just hits the spot' feeling - this supercharged smoothie will keep you feeling chipper and give your immune system a lovely spring in its step. So there's a couple of things that make this not your average smoothie - firstly sweet potato! Yup it adds a delicious texture and pairs really nicely with the cinnamon, ginger, turmeric and oranges which also act as anti-inflammatory for your bod. Roughly 1 cup of cooked sweet potato - skins removed
one whole orange peeled
1 - 2 bananas (depending on how sweet you like it)
1/4 tsp of ginger, turmeric and cinnamon
1 1/2 cups of kombucha - we used the turmeric beauty elixir for the extra turmeric kick
1/2 cup of ice
Blend all ingredients in a high powered blender (we used a vitamix) until smooth. top with shredded coconut if desired. Enjoy!
